Svante Skogh three-seater Bodö sofa by Swedish manufacturer Seffle Möbelfabrik in 1957.
This eye catching piece is made with a solid oak frame flanked by large geometric armrests with tapered legs. The sofa cushions have a firm supported feel and are covered in a grey linen fabric with zips for ease of washing. Leather strapping supports the backrest and seat cushions to provide flexibility as well as create an aesthetic look contrasted against the lighter oak frame.
This piece is in really good vintage condition. All the seat cushions are intact with the zips all working perfectly and the leather webbing is all brand new. The oak frame has a really lovely colour to it with a few odd marks here and there which is commensurate with age and use. There are no major imperfections on the piece and the finish adds real character to the sofa.
