A beautifully crafted Johannes Andersen Model 19 sideboard, made in collaboration with Uldum Møbelfabrik in Denmark, circa 1960s. This striking teak sideboard features a flawless set of tambour-doors with sculpted pulls to help open smoothly and reveal two compartments with adjustable shelves and dovetailed drawers within. On both sides of the tambour-doors is a set of two cabinet doors with the same signature sculpted pulls that help swing open for additional storage space. The monumental solid teak case features rounded edges for a more soft and organic aesthetic that sits on an expertly crafted sculptural base, enhancing the beauty and craftsmanship of the Classic Danish design.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with its original finish. The sideboard is structurally sound with all its exterior features in excellent condition with no breaks or imperfections. Internally all the shelves are sound and the drawers in good working order. There is however a break on the tambour-door stop which has been honestly repaired. Please do get in contact if you would like more information. This does not detract from the beauty of this amazing piece.
